The seventh helper: the vertical dimension feedback from a training exercise in Vietnam (PLA Notes 46)

Participatory 3-D models have become an important tool in natural resource management planning in South-East Asia. In this article the author describes the advantages of using this technique, and details an experience of using the models in Vietnam for gathering socio-economic and environmental data from communities within a protected forest area.
