Report of an informal meeting between IIED and partners on forest and social resilience to climate change, Nairobi, 15 Nov 2006

During this workshop participants agreed that forestry is key with regard to social resilience in the face of climate change – in terms of both mitigation and adaptation. There was substantial discussion on the main forest-related issues and associated areas of action, summarised in the diagram at the end of this report.
