Standards for Gorilla Friendly™ Park Edge Community Products

These Standards for Gorilla FriendlyTM Park Edge Community Products have been produced to encourage best practice among community enterprises that supply products to the tourist market around Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The Gorilla FriendlyTM programme is voluntary. This document outlines in text and images the required and recommended, general and product-specific standards applicable to enterprises that wish to certify their products as Gorilla FriendlyTM. The aim is that the standards label will provide a market advantage for products and incentivise conservation of Gorilla habitats.
