On 3-4th December 2015 in Paris, IIED are holding a two day workshop entitled: ~‘Engaging men and women in REDD+ business: effectively addressing the drivers of deforestation and forest degradation’~ ~The workshop will gather participants from key REDD+ partners to share and discuss findings from research within the Inclusive REDD+ and Testing REDD+ initiatives to inform a wider debate on how REDD+ is contributing to addressing the drivers of land use and land use change. It is an opportunity to share lessons on the ways of working at subnational level and to more broadly look at how to capitalise on the roles that different actors (including private sector, men and women) play in the process.
