Growing Forest Partnerships is an initiative that helps develop and support networks of people and organisations at local, national and international levels towards the equitable and sustainable management of forestry resources.

This briefing paper looks at the potential power of committed and coherent partnerships amongst marginalised groups. These partnerships can help raise access to forest finance for sustainable management and conservation. They can enable forest-users to raise their voices and influence policy decisions that affect their lives and livelihoods. However, the resilience of these partnerships will depend on having a common vision, remaining innovative and ensuring processes are inclusive and bottom-up in approach.
