This handbook is designed to provide a broad overview of the legal regime of forestry in Ghana, adopting a largely non-technical language, and serves as a reference book for paralegals working in fringe forest communities, providing them with the basic knowledge and practical tools needed to work effectively. It also serves as the basis for the training of advocates and stakeholders in affected forest communities in Ghana and provides opportunities for these advocates to share experiences and ideas, thus expanding their professional network.
