Chile Chile The Chile case study was prepared by Eduardo Morales. 1.1 Geography and demography Chile is located along the south-western coast of South America. Its territory covers a land area of 26,626 sq km, 37.4 per cent of which is on the South American continent (750,765 Km2) and 62.3 per cent on the Antarctic continent (1,250,000 Km2), while the remaining area is made up of island possessions.
