Document begins: The Global Warming 8 - GW8 From 6-8 July 2005, the G8 will be happening in Scotland. To coincide with this event, the Working Group on Climate Change and Development is holding the GW8 on July 5th in Edinburgh. Eight speakers from poor countries will describe the impacts of climate change on the lives of people in their country. They will describe barriers to further progress and opportunities for tackling climate change and reducing its impact on poor people.
