Local Agenda 21 Experiences in Nakuru: Processes, issues and lessons

This paper examines the process, proposals, challenges and the lessons that can be learnt from the Local Agenda 21 process in Nakuru, Kenya. The purpose of the case study is to analyse the process of localising Agenda 21; identify the different stakeholders in the process, the main activities, and the challenges faced in implementation of the proposals; and analyse the different opportunities and obstacles.
