Making Space for Better Forestry: Costa Rica study

Strategic alliances formed between social groups have created considerable political space for policy to achieve an effective balance between smallholder forestry and biodiversity conservation. This report describes how this might be done to shape policy processes that generate real benefits for both forests and people.
