This report is an assessment of public policy roles to strengthen corporate social responsibility (CSR). It is derived from the work of the CSR practice of the World Bank Group’s Investment Climate Department. The report draws from a series of reports on crosscutting
CSR issues that are relevant in defining the role of public sector agencies, as well as outputs from country-level technical assistance work in Angola, El Salvador, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
