The world of housing finance has changed significantly over the last 10 years. This issue of Hi-Fi News reviews what has happened in each of the main areas of housing finance and draws out the policy implications. It synthesises the experiences of innovations in housing finance to offer an assessment of the "state of the art" in shelter lending to the poor.
