‘Building capacity for pro-poor responses to wildlife crime in Uganda’ (2014-2017) aims to increase national capacity to deliver pro-poor responses to wildlife crime. By increasing understanding about the links between wildlife crime and poverty it will also provide lessons with international applicability. This report documents the proceedings of the final project workshop held in Kampala, Uganda. The workshop officially launched the Community-Based Wildlife Crime Prevention Action Plans for the Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls National Parks.
