Project Flyer: "Alternative Livelihood Projects” and Conservation - A Systematic Review for Evidence Based Policy
During 2013 and 2014, IIED, CIFOR and ZSL are collaborating on a systematic review to understand the effectiveness of alternative livelihood interventions in reducing threats to biodiversity. This flyer outlines the project’s goal, timeline and rationale, and asks for those who know of key references - journal articles, project reports, book chapters, conference proceedings, dissertations etc – to get in touch.
Project information
Do alternative livelihoods projects work to protect, maintain or even improve biodiversity? What has worked, what hasn’t worked and why? This project aims to answer some of those questions by analysing the evidence.
