A workshop was organised on Bio-cultural Heritage and Traditional Agriculture: Challenges and Possibilities (in the face of Climate Change) under the SIFOR programme in India.

This was the first public workshop to gather large number of participants from the Central Himalayan region. The~main objectives of the workshop were:

- Sensitisation of the stakeholders on the theme of Bio-cultural Heritage(BCH).~- Capturing the perceptions of the stakeholders on current status of BCH and key challenges to farming systems.~- Experience sharing on existing practices and activities on BCH conservation by farmers as well as scientists.
