The physical and socio-economic characteristics of the Adjohoun District in southern Benin mean it is disproportionately affected by variations in climate and is vulnerable to climate change. This study identifies how both the biodiversity within swamp forests and the communities living nearby are vulnerable to the effects of climate change. The study also considers adaptations measures at different levels of decision making.
